Orthopedic Institute is a three story orthopedic unit of the University of Missouri Hospital. It’s a state-of-the-art facility with operating rooms, MRI services, pre-op, post-op, overnight rooms and rehabilitation services all under one roof.

The project was one of the first at the university to use building modeling technology to coordinate installation of plumbing, HVAC, electrical and fire protection systems. The plan required precise delivery of materials and equipment for a fast-paced, 14-month construction schedule. Numerous requests for information and change order requests made the project challenging, but the project was completed on time. The hospital has been very satisfied with the performance of the many mechanical, plumbing, and medical systems.
