Dobbs Group is a multi-story multi-building construction project on University of Missouri’s campus. The project included demolishing an existing dormitory and constructing two new dorms and a dining facility.

The project time frame was very tight for the first building to be completed. The limited construction space was also a major challenge to all contractors. It required precise coordination for delivering materials, off-site prefab to limit the amount of raw material needed on site, and very careful planning while delivering and installing major HVAC equipment. 

The project was completed on time despite some significant weather delays and an end date that could not be adjusted due to students moving into the facility for the following semester. The project was finally completed in June 2016, right on time for students to move in for fall semester.
